Hi Experts, I’m looking at inventory valuation detail report from netsuite, but the data exceeds the limitation per each report (over 100000 rows). How can I get the full data and download it as a csv or xls file? I have over 400,000 rows of data. Thanks!

Schedule your report

Hey Mb, thanks for your response. If I remember correctly, the scheduled report will be sent to me via email. However, the file has limitation as well. Is there any other way to do this? Thank you!!
m
yes you have to specify a mail, but in report >scheduled report > report result you can post the report and download it in excel. I had an inventory report with a hundred thousand lines and it worked
y
Hey Mb, so before you set up the scheduled report, did you see the message saying “The results of this report are too large”? Because I suspect that the schedule report will send me an incomplete report.
like now, if I download this report, I’ll only get 100,000 records, but the complete data has 400,000 records.
but did you try to schedule it? Because for me you have a limitation of 1 million lines for a report
y
Hey Mb, did you ever encounter this issue before?
I’m expecting to get the report via email, but got this.
m
try outside of peak hours

I tried outside of peak hours but still got the same error. Any suggestions?
Hi Mb, Good morning! I tried again during 12:00 am last night. I got the same error. Is this because the file is too large?
m
Hello Yinghai Notify your Netsuite support for understand what is the problem And you can recreate your report with a saved search Without line’s limit like for your report

Hey Mb, thank you for the suggestion. The reason why I want to use the inventory valuation detail report is that I don’t know how this report was calculated by netsuite. The algorithm to me is a blackbox. I know there are FIFO, LIFO examples online, but they don’t cover a lot of corner cases. If I use a saved search, I’ll get the data before netsuite applies the algorithm.
m
ok the only solution i see is to split your report with filters to decrease the number of line. You can try to schedule your report with a filter and tell me if it works. But I invite you to contact Netsuite to find out why you are limited in your export

Hey Mb, that sounds like plan. May I know the contact method to talk with Netsuite?
Go to our Netsuite account center and click on contact support
y
cool, thank you Mb. Quick question is, who will be the person to answer my question? Is it going to be a person from Netsuite support community? Or the account manager from Oracle? Or someone else?
m
these are people who work for Netsuite and Oracle
