Hello folks, I am getting ready to set-up Business Intelligence platform with SuiteConnect. I have 2 questions :- a. Should I look into building a data warehouse or just do a direct connect from BI tool? b. Which BI platforms have you tried/used with Netsuite? Any good/bad you could share, please!

I'd build a dwh. Performance will be better as you can index appropriately etc. Just be aware that transaction lines are a pain to deal with when doing incremental ETL, as there's no delete audit on them

I don't want to give bad advice, but there is native connection with Tableau - in that sense you don't need to do dwh If you do say PowerBI - I think it's possible to do ODBC as an export (say snapshot) to do the reporting.

I have found the optimal is NS to Stitch to Snowflake. Stitch can sync all your data sources into Snowflake

Thank you for the comments so far! Our use case is much simpler that we don't have multiple systems and therefore a data merge requirement. Ours is really more of need to get our data analysis better by getting multiple source data tables linked(joined) etc. For instance, we have a custom record for Inbound shipments (predates the NS feature) and would like to link it to receipt / fulfillment transactions and to item prices and so on. Even with the NS Analytics, we find it very hard to do within NS.
