Question about Event Search: Is it possible to exclude the Copmany as an attendees in the search? My purpose with the search is to group and count the atteendees but i don´t want the company to be included as an attandee.

Hi Johan, not sure if I got your question right, but what stops you, in the Event-search, to use as criteria the filter: Attendee _none of_(is not) "Company"(you ust pick the Attendee, which represents the Company) Then in the results, you group your results, by the Attendee-field.

Hi Era, The issue is that there is a lot of companies (thousands) and every time an employee sets up a meeting, the company appear as an "Attendee" line. In my search, I want to see how many meeting an employee have as an "attendee" (note there can be several employees in a meeting). Right now my grouped search shows how many meetings each employee have as "attandee" as well as how many meetings each company have as "attandee", which I don´t want to se...

I would say to try to identify a “mark”, which makes the difference between the employee-attendee and the company-attendee(maybe even in the name...). Then use a formula-field as criteria...

The question is just how to do that? It´s not an option to make a mark in the name. And I don´t think its possible to edit the "attendee" list.

what do you mean?...you can access in a SavedSearch, the fields of a certain record, referred in the record on which you search. in your case, you can have in the filters, the "Attendee Fields..."; it shall be in the list of filter-options, towards the end, when you can have the access to all the fields of all the records, which are referred in the Event-record. so there(in the "Attendee Fields..."), you can pick for the criteria, any field which will have a specific value only for the companies, so then you will exclude all the attendees with this "mark". in case you really cannot find such field, you go to the contact-record and you create a new custom field(a checkbox, for example), where you make a default value=checked, in case it is for "a company"...then you use that custom field as your "mark"
