Probably a stupid question, but hey it’s Friday. Is it possible to bulk create sales orders (approx. 400 orders) via a CSV import? If so, does anyone have a template that includes the required fields? I can’t seem to find anything in SuiteAnswers

Yes you can import sales order. required fields depends on what fields are required in your system

Hi @Pete Kastner do you by chance have a template with the basic fields on it? I can then add in any additional required fields we may have

Required fields tend to be External ID Customer Location Item Quantity Price level Rate

create a saved search of your sales orders with the fields in the results (mainline false), then use the headers from the CSV extract from the search as you template. Note in this case you have to have all transaction mainline data fields for each transaction line (line level). Other optio is to use 2 file CSV import one for header data another one for line level.
