[Hopefully] simple question on creating a custom trial balance report. Can someone assist with which field is the “simple” account number, without parent account included? For example, I want it to show 61050 - Online Marketing rather than 61000 - Marketing:61050 - Online Marketing. 61050 being the sub account where transactions are recorded, 61000 being the parent summary account, if needed for clarity.

The field you're looking for is the "Name (GL-style)" field to display the number with the name. Whether it displays the full hierarchy or just the child node is actually determined by your preferences under Home > Set Preferences

@James Morris thanks for the help! I’ve been playing around with this, but still running into the same output. See example from report, and confirmation that box has been ticked in settings
Any ideas why that could be the case?

If this is inside an account grouping, you'll need to check the layout preferences for each section as there are "show hierarchy" preferences there too

Would that be on the report customization? I don’t see anything for hierarchy field when customizing the report - I’m only pulling in the Account GL-style field in my Edit Columns section. Thank you for your help here!

In the financial layout section when customizing reports (I believe you said you were doing a trial balance earlier, and the screenshot said "account" not "name gl-style" so again making some assumptions here that you're looking at the account column from the financial layout). The options on the right when you click on a specific financial section. If that's not the column you're looking at, then ignore me, if it is and you're not familiar with financial layouts you'll need to some learning/suiteanswering/playing around.
