hey everyone! does anyone know what is the best practice for selling a group of items for a discounted price? our base price for components must stay 0, so we cannot use item groups.

Can’t you use a group item, neutralize the prices, and add a price item ?

You use a script or a workflow that sets the prices of your items to 0.

netsuite doesn't seem to let me edit the price or price level in the line item for a group item

Just remind that you can’t rely on reportings for items sold in kits afterwards. (since their price is 0)

so if i set the script to neutralize the price though, that allows us to edit the line item price for the group?

Better late than never: the group price relies on the Price Item. If you want to adjust your group price, you just have to modify the price item rate.
