anyone know why Tax Information is not displaying on my form?

From intl tax reports bundle (43003) or something you added?

Avalara tab is usually specifically called Avatax - at least in a oneworld account

the alternative is adv taxes / intl tax reports but those I believe are scripted and only shown if needed

Yea I don't think you should worry about it then, it should actively show fields as needed based on how transaction looks

We wanted to change the tax rate on a sales order using the tax information fields

that should be done through the tax code field on the transaction line

if its avatax then it would be avatax as taxcode and bill to/ship to and product code would decide what rate should be

but as mentioned that would not be in that tab regardless if its avatax, that tab is called avatax then
