Hey all, I'm trying to throw an error if a user tries to close an item line on a Sales Order if that item line has already been picked. Can anyone point me towards documentation that can help compare the old value of the closed field to the new?

I would like to know this as well. I was able to change the field display type to entry:

sales_rep.updateDisplayType({displayType: serverWidget.FieldDisplayType.ENTRY});

. I had previously set the sublist to inlineeditor, which made link code visible and mangled other things on the sublist.

I want the value to be visible but not editable via UI for some roles. Restricting the field to "view" permission for those roles via the custom field settings prevented scripts from updating those fields for those users, so instead I want to set them to display as inline via a script. I just need to figure out how...

In the docs I can only find info on updating the display type of scripted fields
