how can i write script on netsuite.

@Jagadeesh Battini Please remove the break or new line while returning the object. it should be like this. return{ execute: FileId }; One more thing you don't need to require 'N/log' module. It is a global module.

@Menno Janssen You cannot add custom workflow actions for client-side triggers. It is only applicable for server-side triggers.

one idea is a WebDAV -> SFTP bridge

@Ben VanderBeek One approach could be to keep an text file index.txt in the root of your sFTP to keep your file names... then your NetSuite integration download that file and you then have all your file names...

If your sFTP is running on Linux/Unix like system, would be fairly doable to make an script to handle/keep that file updated... or some FTP server would even trigger an script on file creation/upload...

I am attempting to delete records in client script which executes when a user clicks a specific button in edit mode in the UI. The browser console is repeatedly giving me a 'record not found error'. after I check the records which I was trying to delete from the script, they are in fact successfully deleted, but the rest of the script execution is halted because of the error.. is this a known thing? deleted records in a client script will always give this error and halt you execution?

Maybe a redirect back to the original page (not in edit mode) before the delete function is actually run? What's the end-to-end purpose/downstream intention of the script?

How would you check if a customer exists via script based on form input? I've got a custom record with an online form, and if someone enters information that matches an existing customer I'd like to populate a "customer" field on the record with the customer ID of that customer, or if it's a new customer, have a button to "create customer" based on the form input.

Using JavaScript is possible, there is a couple of library for that... but is tricky...
