This is correct. The value of the Options field [from the WO] is a string of text, I was working on updating the Qty of select components, based on the sum of characters from select fields.

Does anyone know how to add a customer as an attendee of an event via script? I don't want any email to be sent to them, I just want them added to an event once a sales order with that event is approved.

you'd have to kow the event then the attendees is just a sublist on it so it should be scriptable

Well somehow the lines added to that SO have a povendor field which store the item preferred vendor, if that vendor change you cant do anything with that oorder u have to manually remove the line and add it again so.it gets the new preferred vendor...

Which in a long run is going.to be a problem.

I will test this on Sandbox but it look like a bug, which mean if you have multiple vendors enable and you and you have 3 items on an order those.items store the prefered vendor under the field povendor, then if you edit one of those items and change the preferred vendor and you go back.to the order and try to delete a line of.the others items it error out saying that error....

Basically you cant edit a Sales Order after u change the preferred vendor of one of the line items...

What's best practices for populating the value of list field when you don't know the id of the option you need? I tried loading the field and using getSelectOptions, but I get a

cannot find function getSelectOptions in object field

error. I think before when I've seen this it was related to the object not being in dynamic mode, but getField doesn't take isDynamic as an option.

Still does not look right to me... if I create a Sales Order for 3 items... one of those items have Vendor;

NetSuite

as preferred vendor.... but before I fulfill or do anything with the Order the company decide to stop buying from

NetSuite Vendor

and delete it from the Item's Vendors and add a new Vendor:

Oracle

which is now the preferred vendor... Then I can't edit the Sales Order again??? that is far from being right...

That's actually an edge case, you can put validations on the Manage Intercompany Sales Orders to catch that

a UE on the PO on beforesubmit

this generates a big bottleneck sometimes, as you can have items with no vendor selected. The PO generates none the less, with less items than there were on the SO

in that case you have to close the SO#1, PO and SO#2... and re-do everything.
