Does anyone know a good way to track “days with 0 available stock” within a date-range in inventory reports?

Is there a function in netsuite to enter “blanket orders”? (blanket order=a non-shippable order for a customer that holds inventory for them, and the actual shippable sales orders they place automatically draw down that inventory from the blanket order). I am aware of the supply allocation function, but that appears to be focused on single items, whereas I’m looking for a way to import a reservation to hold stock for a customer for up to several hundred sku’s at a time, for each month of an entire season. There has been a native function for this in all of the ERP programs I’ve used in the past, but so far have not found anything in netsuite. Am I missing or misunderstanding something? Any help would be great, thanks in advance.

Is there any way to ensure that inventory received from a particular PO commits to specific work orders, so I don't see it as available inventory?

Is there a way in the system to show who created a Bin Record? The normal system information is not included in the bin record and I swear I was on a screenshare one time when the user went to another area of NetSutie to get it

Is there an easier way to delete all stock qtys/values for all inventory LOT numbered items?

We have lots of Items with various price levels/currencies. Those items can be sold individually or part of Assembly. If we update an Item price by $x.xx (via CSV import), can we get the Assembly price to update by the same amount, without having to import the assembly item as well. Perhaps a script can execute to see if the item exists in an assembly, and update it if it does?

Does anyone have a saved search that tells you what transactions/documents the items showing up for the bin put away worksheet are coming from? Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

We created a Work Order linked to a Sales Order. The WO is now Closed, but it is still linked to the SO. How do we unlink them?

We have an serialized inventory item showing quantity 27 On Order. We have had 5 purchase orders totally Qty 25 in total, Qty 8 now Fully Billed, leaving Qty 17 on open purchase orders. Other than POs are there other transactions which can impact the Item's Qty on Order?

Does anyone use the basic (non-WMS) 'Inventory Count' feature? We get inventory count excel files from our third party fulfillment partner and I'd like to either import or automate getting their counts loaded into Netsuite. The cycle count record doesn't seem to allow CSV imports. Has anyone figured out a workaround?

hi folks, we're in the process of evaluating WMS solutions. I've seen RFSmart and Cloud WMS being chucked around. Would anyone recommend any others that could be considered in our research? Apart from netsuite WMS ofc.

Anyone know if it’s possible to have a supply-required-by date on a sales order default to the requested shipping date, not the date the order is entered into netsuite? most of the time our orders are to ship months in the future, so there are relatively few cases where we want the supply required by date to default to today--I am being told this isnt possible, which I can’t believe. Anyone know for sure?

Hello Everyone. I am running into issues with NS double committing Serial/Lot numbers to Sales Orders, and showing them still committed when they have already shipped against another order. My question is 1. Is there a way to prevent the double commitment?

When using WMS, specifically mobile, when receiving a PO, the Preferred Bin on the Item record doesn't show up in the list, only the 'Receiving' bin. How do I get the Preferred Bin to show up?

I have the NS feature 'Allow Overage on Item Fulfilments' turned on, but when using WMS, I get the error 'The entered quantity cannot exceed the remaining quantity'. Is it possible to over-fulfil using WMS?

hey guys, I'm looking for inspiration on how to best optimise our inventory sync between netsuite and webstore. The proposed solution is to sync available quantities every 10-15 minutes, using the

lastquantityavailablechange

to fetch only those item levels which have changed since the previous sync. I see a few challenges here: • it's not real time, though we could consider increasing the frequency • unapproved quantities are not factored in to available figure (rightly so but this sometimes results in over reporting) The other method which comes to mind is to isolate all events (SOs, Receipts) affecting inventory levels and fire them off in single events rather than batch sync though intuitively batching seems cleaner. Would love to hear how others have implemented this sync. Thanks!

If you fire off individual events, you probably want to utilise a messaging service like Azure Service Bus. That's probably as close as you will get re real-time.

All, is there an efficient way to update Assembly costs, such as Average Cost / Last Purchase Price? The only way I can suggest is through Assembly Builds and Inventory Adjustments, is this the case?
