@Steve82 Our default will probably remain Chrome - Some of our custom integrations apparently only work in Chrome which I learned thanks to this incident, will be investigating once this is over.

@Todd Fortunately no mac users who work in NetSuite regularly. Firefox working doesn't really make sense to me, we have workflows which populate a lot of our fields on create so user interactions are minimal on the forms. Certainly seems to be datepickers, file drag & drop etc so all points back to the same Jquery UI issues...

@Todd we’re primarily Windows/Chrome users here but have a couple of Macs (including myself atm). I wasn’t affected by the UI issues in Chrome on Mojave but other users were

So Firefox v66 (latest) is sort of working for two out of three finance people that are currently in. Hopefully works for more as they arrive.

It's a bit inconsistent, sometimes does not work and needs pages to be refreshed.

Hey all! I'm brand new to NetSuite. I'm just getting started on my implementation and am curious if anyone could point me in a good direction on a particular set of questions I have. My question is about sales orders. I would like several fields to respond dynamically to the shipping address. Such as only offering certain shipping methods for addresses with specific zip codes. What is a good resource for these types of dynamic customizations? Would I have to use suitescript to do this?

Workflows are usually easier to manage for someone without coding experience, so I'd suggest starting there (unless you are a developer?). It may end up that you still have to use scripts depending on your specific needs, but it sounds like a workflow could do it. You can read the help section on workflows to get started, maybe google around a little for workflow validation examples (especially relating to addresses), and then come back here or #suiteflow (the channel focused on workflows) if you have specific questions/issues while testing.

Thaks @amy! I was a developer (in a previous life (job)) lol. I have a pretty good understanding of javascript so I think I could pick up on suitescript quickly. But if there is a way to do it without coding, that would be my first choice. I will dig into the suiteflow feature and add myself to that channel. Thanks for the quick response!

@CortlandCoffey To get certain field to respond dynamically to an address would probably require a script. A workflow could possibly work to set certain fields based on the shipping address but not restrict dynamically

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if it's now possible to use a related record's tags in an email template? All I could find was SuiteAnswers 34032 which said it was not possible and that there was Enhancement Request 230722 to make this possible, but that was all the way back in 2013. Was wondering if anyone's been able to make this work. Thanks!

Oh and a bit of background: I'm trying to send an email from a transaction but also trying to bring in some customer and sales rep fields. The transaction fields are being populated but not the others

@rmhollands How are you referencing those related fields? ${entity.salesrep}?

Well it gives you a drop-down for "field type", so for example I would choose field type = "Customer", then in field I would select "ID". The resulting tag is ${customer.entityId}

Anyone know why when I perform an https.post from my 2.0 suitescript it transforms the body from an object like

{ foo:"bar", hello: "goodbye" }

into

foo=bar&hello=goodbye

? And how do I avoid this? I just want the body object to remain a standard JSON object at the destination...
