I have an interesting one this morning. I changed the language of one of our sales channels yesterday from B&M > Non-Web. Now whenever a sales person enters an order for the Non-Web sales channel, and attempts to assign themselves to the order, and the channel source (phone, chat, sales), upon saving the record, the channel source entry, and salesman entry are deleted. Thoughts?

Figured it out, old workflow.

@battk thanks for the reply...i had just assumed that i could somehow split it because the sales order splits availability based on the location you choose in the dropdown...but i fear you are right as I can't figure out any way to replicate that.

Yeah, it should be. We rewrote a lot of our scripts to force a toLowerCase because it was causing integration errors otherwise

Hi Regarding WIP and Routing and in particular the "Manufacturing Task Scheduler", I'm not able to move anything once the WO has started. But how would I pause a routing step. For example a high- priority demand on production or even machine break down - means in the real - world it could be a window of hours or even days between routing tasks. But the task shows locked and can't be moved.

I just LUL'ed, there's a field for employee ethnicity. So I can set up filter options on saved searches by race? Really netsuite?

Having been through the whole 'It's time for layoffs' process at a company before, that kind of HR demographical information does get used

We’re required to keep it per Department of Labor regulations

Because we do business with the federal government sometimes we have to record all of that data in case we are audited.

So, I can cook up and evil saved search that helps me analyse sales wins by race, black vs white, asian vs hispanic etc etc lol !!

But we only put down what people fill out in their documentation, and I believe they can select “choose not to say”

I think in the US both OFCCP and EEOC may require this data collection for certain companies - but the employee can also say “Not given”

We also have to provide salary data to the DOL every so often. They review that we pay per position within an acceptable range (so one accountant can’t make vastly more or less than another in the same position).

You could pull one out that shows you employee compensation via gender or ethnicity too
