We have a custom workflow for Vendor Bills. The Approve Bills page does not show the pending approval bills. So, I created a custom view saved search. It seems that I have to select every Pending Approval state, so that the Vendor Bills will appear? They don't show up automatically? I have to select an Action first on the Approve Bills page?

I'm struggling how to represent currency in which user sees saved search (based on transactions) amounts. As you know or if don't, Saved search displays amount in base currency of highest subsidiary to which role has access to or with temporary Home > Set Preferences > Restrictions. So the problem is how to display in what currency amounts you looking right know.

Does anyone really find the General Accruals option for items that are not inventory or assembly useful? The reconciliation between the Item Receipt and Vendor Bill seems to be not straightforward. We currently have a saved search of all received but not yet billed as of each month. Then, we export then import this as a JE to record the accrual and reverse on the first day of next month.

Okay, no one is talking in the #payroll thread, so I'm going to ask here. We just got a new payroll manager and no one can offer her training, documentation from previous employee is non existent. NetSuite wants us to buy the whole training access pass for $5,000. The consulting companies we've worked with have no payroll experience because they say NetSuite keeps it close. HOW DO I GET TRAINING?

Has anyone else noticed that since release 2021.2 that loading an Employee Record that is assigned the Admin role takes like 2-3 minutes? All other employee record are fine just the ones with Admin roles take forever?!?

Hi! Other than purchase order items, are there other ways to determine a bill to require 2 or 3 way matching? I am seeing at a client right now wherein depending on the item selected, the bill will require an item receipt. Are there other ways to force the system to require 3 way vs 2 way matching? My requirement is to provide a free shipping code for our customers. The coupon codes for free shipping in NetSuite are tied to free shipping for a specific ship method. Such as USPS or FedEx. We’d like to provide to customers a single coupon code that will work regardless of the ship method. NetSuite native functionality doesn’t appear to have this and would require sending to customers several codes, one for each ship method they might wish to use. How can we make a single coupon code for free ship that works always?

Does anyone know what permission it is for seeing the Bill button on Item Fulfillments? We have invoice permissions all set to full, but it is still missing on this role.

I asked this before but didn't get an answer that fixes our problem. We have a custom approval workflow for Vendor Bills and the accounting preference for Approval Routing for Vendor Bills is turned on. The workflow is working but we want to be able to use the native Approve Bills page (for bulk approval). For some reason, it doesn't show the Vendor Bills pending approval. Also, do we need to select an Action (WF state) on that page, so that it'll work. Tried that but didn't work as well.
