I have a requirement where I need to default certain fields on the PO form if the particular PO is created from MRP. I have created a summary field which will result data if the PO is created from a planned order. Now I need to default certain fields only for a role in this case. I was thinking of creating another custom form and defaulting all the fields using a workflow and call it only when the summary field has a value. The defaulting should not happen in other cases. Please advice on the best approach on this, I am not much proficient in scripting yet. Thanks

@Lauren Polasek It is multi vendor. The reason for this is it is cheaper for us to cross dock containers at another one of our warehouses than it is to have the containers shipped directly to this warehouse.

We are using the standard landed cost feature of NetSuite. One of the problems that we encounter is when we receive the landed cost bill at a later time or at the time when the related item receipt is already posted to a closed period. Is there a workaround to still capitalize such landed costs without reopening the closed period, using the inventory worksheet or using landed cost template from SCM?

Howdy! Would anyone know why the System would randomly choose the document type of an attached (to an email) document sent via a PO or SO? Employee A sends .html, Employee B sends PDF -> doing the exact same thing on each account.

We have a user whose email account was compromised. We’ve shut down his access to his email, but for some reason emails to the NetSuite relay server are being processed and it still looks like it’s coming from his account. Is there any way to shut off email relay permissions in NetSuite? I have a feeling the answer is no, but figured I’d check just in case.

Hello all! I have about 22 new item fields that I need to create and I was hoping there was a way to do an import with the info for the fields so that I don't have to make them manually. The fields will all be located on the same tab and will all be visible and they will all be free-text and the naming conditions will be Keyword 1, Keyword 2, Keyword 3, etc. Does anyone know of a way to do this easily?

Has anyone used this tool? it doesn't really reflect the load time I see in my browser vs what the portlet says. I my browser is taking like more than a minute, here it says 2.3 sec

How does one setup a role or employee to choose from multiple PO approvers? We have someone who does the POs for others and needs flexibility to choose the approver.

Is there a way to set a default sales order form per subsidiary when creating intercompany sales order from Manage Intercompany Sales Orders page? Our sales order forms per subsidiary have mandatory fields that cause the error. I think it uses the preferred one which also has its mandatory custom fields that are not populated in the intercompany PO.

The elimination JE related to intercompany sales/purchases is: intercompany AP (debit) Intercompany AR (credit) Intercompany Sales (debit) COGS (not intercompany COGS) (credit) CTA (debit) - equal to intercompany COGS Intercompany COGS (credit) This looks incorrect (assuming the intercompany inventory is not yet sold to third parties). Is there an easy way to track the intercompany inventory sold to third-parties? Or at least to correct the elimination JE especially if there are a lot of intercompany sales/purchases?

@Corey Schwoebel No, they don't and they would not, you should be perfectly fine using SSH Private Key and using NetSuite Keys management interface, you would not need to worry about IP whitelisting...

We've got very limited instructions for Avalara setup. Do we still need to create Nexuses and tax schedule? Also, we're using the Avalara tax codes, right? Should we associate the tax code per one subsidiary only? Aren't we allowed to share them across multiple?
