Hello All, I need your suggestion over here. My client requires his invoices to be posted to different income accounts, based on the department selected on the transaction header. As much as I know, I feel this is not possible and the work around is creating multiple version of the same item linked to that specific income account or to use header and line level departments, to get the GL posting marked accordingly. Do you guys have any other work around?

Why not just set up the promo code to add the item for you?

Or are you using the old promo codes still?

That said, I think this would be a negative user experience "oh when I place my order I see X dollars. 2 minutes later get confirmation email with X+5 dollars" or I don't look at the email, and now I'm mad because my bank didn't clear at the same price that it should have.

I'm currently recreating a form for the creation of a record using a suitelet. In the form, certain fields are tied together. For instance, if I were to select the account for John Doe, some other fields would get populated with information relating to John Doe. How would I implement this behavior in a suitelet. I'm thinking it would go something like this:

// create account select input
var account = form.addField('custpage_acc', 'select', 'Account', 'customrecord_acc')

// should get populated with information relating to account selected
var additionalAccountInfo = form.addField('custpage_addinfo', 'text, 'Additional Info', <source>??)

I'm not really sure how I should source that info. Any ideas? The help would be much appreciated.

I'm setting up a saved search to email automatically. I only want it to send if a record is created, not updated. Does anyone know what I can select to have it send only when records are CREATED? I'm trying to limit email alerts with to information, just because something was updated.

Hi. Welcome to reason #1 I don't use other relationships.

yeah i've run into this, and was unable to unlink them. inactivate one and the other is marked inactive.

I'm still not sure I understand what the benefit is of even doing it in the first place - I can make my own method for joining them that doesn't lock them together for eternity

Hey there netsuite gurus, I'm getting -000000021 231900.000000 as an output result format when I try to subtract a date field from another date field (might datetime) to calc the num of days between the dates. Is there any way to get a clean number from this? my attempts at using the default functions have been ABS, FLOOR, CEIL, and I still get 'unexpected error has occurred...' Any help is appreciated
