I am having an issue trying to combine fields into 1 text area box if a certain option on a different field is selected. I am able to get 1 of the fields to show in the text area box but not all. The formula I am using is

{custbody_eym_company_name_fda} || {custbody_eym_address_1_fda}

. I also tried

{custbody_eym_company_name_fda}||{custbody_eym_address_1_fda}

and still only get the 1 line. I know there is data in the other field because if I put the 2nd field first - that one does show but the other does not.

Greetings All, My company purchases lumber from the same vendor across different states. It is common for the price of said lumber to vary state to state for the same vendor. Is there a native NetSuite process to manage variable pricing from a single vendor for items? Please let me know if I need to clarify better or if you would like more details.

I need to calculate the amount difference in two line items on a saved search. basically the 1st item is the regular product and second item is a promo line. Subsequently, 3rd item would be the product and 4th item would be the promo line. How can I proceed. Thanks in advance.

Duplicate Detection - PO#s on SO Client pinged another consultant I work with on this - and I SWEAR this used to work, but there's a suite answers article that indicates it needs to be scripted. Essentially - if you put in a duplicate PO# on the same customer, it should warn you that that customer already has that PO# existing something along the lines of "This PO already exists, are you sure you want to continue..." I remember this from my early consulting days pretty clearly, but I'm struggling to find it now. Anyone else have this configured/know what triggers this? I distinctly remember configuring this in the same place you manage vendor bill number duplication (i.e. I'm okay getting vendor bill 123 from 2 different vendors, but don't want it on the same vendor)

Hi guys, hoping someone can see something I'm missing: I'm trying to get my payment link to a custom sales transaction with no luck. I have linked the payment form to the transaction (under the forms subtab), the role has permission to perform/accept customer payments, but there is no Accept Payment button. Can't find anything in SuiteAnswers, wondering if someone knows of something I'm missing here?

Is there a simple way to select invoices by a parent customer? I don't see it as a field on the Customer entity of the Invoice which would've been the easiest.

Your best bet for that is a tool called strongpoint, and even then, I'm not 100% confident how well it would handle it. Alternatively, you could probably write a script to do this. Or you could download the XML - but I wouldn't really call that "readable"
