We get an error when processing credit cards, sometimes. We use merchant E solutions as a processor. To get the card to work, we have to uncheck the 'send line level data' box, then it works. There must be something in a field on the affected item records. I cant find what fields are considered in sending this data to know what to edit.  Our credit card processor says: This message means there is something in the line item detail (line level data) that is incorrect. When you uncheck Send Line Level Data, this skips sending the line item detail to MerchantE letting the transaction go through. Have you noticed a pattern of a certain line item on each transaction? If you can determine which item is causing the error you could fix the issue in NetSuite.

I need to void a vendor prepayment (posted in a closed period) that is fully applied (bill and payment application posted in a closed period). The void button is not showing, I presume because it is fully applied. The prepayment was never actually made in the bank. Any ideas on how to reverse this transaction in the current month? I think a JE might be the only way.

Hi – I’m working on importing chart of account for netsuite from QBO. Does netsuite allow making certain GL accounts available to specific subsidiaries?  For instance, we have some accounts but only used to a parent (1) and a sub (2), but non others (3,4,5).  Is this configurable in NetSuite when we setup up  CoA?

Hi everyone! Is there any happy inbetween for "closing" jobs/projects and using the inactive function? We would like for closed jobs to no longer show up in the client/job dropdown list, not be able to open POs/estimates, enter bills, etc. but would still like to see them on historical reports for revenue and costs. It seems like deactivating more or less makes them disappear from most reports but the most I can find otherwise on the job settings is turning off time and expense report entries. Anyone have this issue?

We have Advanced Revenue Management enabled and it says on SuiteAnswers ID: 49389 that any billable cost posts to Deferred Revenue account first. Our issue with this is we have billable time and billable expenses for the same customer and we want to create a single invoice. We are unable to because we get the error "transaction includes items that post to revenue and items that post to deferred revenue. You cannot include both types of items on the same transaction." The billable expense in this case goes to revenue but billable time goes to deferred revenue. How can we have billable time post to revenue directly?

Hello everyone, I need some clarification regarding revenue recognition topic, please. I have a customer who sells hardware products. I have set up revenue recognition at the time the item is fulfilled which doesn't work for my customer as he recognize the revenue only when the goods are received by their customers. The actual process is the following: Create SO->Dropshipment PO-> Fullfil(Revenue Recognition)-> generate invoice. IS there any way to workaround that by keeping the revenue recognition at the item fulfilment? I can't Invoice before fulfilling orders as serial numbers are entered the Item fulfillment and which should appears at the invoice. The hold item level can't be an option. As they fulfil massive SO with many lines. There is any way to hold the Item fulfilment transac from rev reg until they enter the reception date ? Thanks in advance!!

We are starting to implement landed costs in our system and we are trying to run reports to get gross profit based on landed costs. It seems like the native gross profit field is based on the purchase order rate, how do we go around this and get accurate reporting based on landed cost?

We are running into a landed cost problem in Netsuite with Item Receipts. We have a process that sometimes requires adding quantity received to an already created item receipt. In this case, we have discovered that the overall GL Impact for the IR is not fully updated with all of the Landed Cost Template values. When we update the quantity, we see the Accrued Purchases GL impact properly update with the new

quantity * purchase rate

. However, all of our LCT GL impact lines (Duty, Freight, etc) do not get updated on the GL impact, and remains calculated with the original quantity of the IR, not the new updated quantity value. Has anyone seen this before? Why would the GL update for the purchase price * new quantity but not the LCT charges?

ADP - > NS Anyone done this without it being a trainwreck? The biggest issue I've run into is that their general response is "We can do whatever you like" and then the client doesn't really know what they want and it turns into me coming up with a hacked together solution to get what the client is asking for while doing something that ADP can actually perform. I see two automated integration options: Celigo and one by a 3rd party consulting firm that I wouldn't be shocked to hear it was actually using celigo in the background. Am I missing any easy ones? Frankly, at this point I'm looking for stupid simple - a JE from ADP to a JE in NS. Any suggestions on making that happen?

Hello everyone, I am working with an invoice form that is being populated from more than one source. MOST invoices are pretty standard with their generation. but i have some other invoices using the same form coming in from stripe. now the integration team has created a sub tab in the invoices that will house the stripe specific data. however i need to call some data from that sub tab to the main body of the invoice. now without changing the form is there a way to source the due date on the invoice from the stripe data and if its not present then source it from its normal place?

looks like i have another question to spring off everyone. is there a way to discount an item at the item level to apply to ALL customers. i would want to set the item to show its regular price and then have a the discount denoted as 100% and then reflect that they wont be paying for the item.

Hey! Question regarding currency revaluation when the foreing currency balance is zero!! If we have a total balance in foreign currency of zero in any account the system doesn't run the revaluation but if the balance is 0,1 in foreign currency the system calculates whatever rates with 0,1. It doesn't make sense that we need to have a balance of 0,1 for the system to work. Does anyone know how to handle this. See picture of an example. The account used is 1660 other current asset type
