If I worked with a Fly Fishing company the expectations of inventory mgmt are vastly different than someone with software billing. Share a bit about what you guys do to attract the right responses. @C_Billings Thanks for this pointer. My company already works consultants, so we will not be purchasing any more consulting resources. My purpose in doing this research is to find out the best way that I can become my company's internal Netsuite expert so that we no longer need to work with consultants in the future. I work for a Catholic non-profit organization that distributes books. We currently have about $10million in inventory in our warehouse and we distribute many thousands of packages each year. Hi, when you are creating a new Journal Entry line, select a tax code and after that gross amount, are you able to somehow determine on which side will Netsuite fill the net value (credit or debit)? Now it is always filling the net amount on credit side. It is annoying since in real life the side depends on is it an income or expense account. 90% of the time it is expense and you have to manually change the net from credit to debit.

We have someone who is trying to use Consolidated Invoicing as part of their month end process, and it's not creating the PDF attachment, and it says that the record (i.e. consolidated invoice) doesn't exist. I heard rumblings that CI has been deprecated in favor of Invoice Groups, but shouldn't they be allowed to continue using it? Anyone have any insight on why CI would be behaving this way?

Hi All, I have an issue with Match Bank Data that I'm wondering if anyone else has ran into... All 11/15 Transfers/Credits/Payments are greyed out and 'still processing'. This is an error of sorts but after looking at the Banking Import History the only issue is something from 11/04 which is before this started happening. Question: Where besides

A statement is a “saved search” of transactions. It would be a scripted solution to convert your saved search of open transactions to excel (along with the running balance). If they just wanted transaction list that could be easy.

Might be a silly question but one of our accountants has asked why the AR Aging report is not picking up any Deposit transactions. Do these deposits need to be applied before they are picked up, or should they just be picked up once posted?

Hi SuiteTax Experts 👋🏽 I have a customer that is trying to edit and save a JE. The JE is not a taxable transaction/does not hit any tax GL accounts. When they go to save the JE record an error is kicked-back saying, “This taxable transaction cannot be saved because its on-demand migration to SuiteTax failed.” Has anyone else experienced this before? The SuiteTax Migration page says it’s fully migrated.
