how do i capture our loss on a purchase order that was paid but never received? there is a bill and bill payment but its still pending receipt

I'm new on this channel and I have an urgent request for knowledge: Our client wants to be able to eliminate only select transactions from their intercompany AR/AP accounts. To me, this means that they cannot use the month end elimination process to do their eliminations, because the flag to make transactions eliminate and be pulled into this process is on the account setup/at the account level. So that leaves the manual creation of elimination journal entries as the only alternative. SuiteAnswers article #64447 indicates in the blue "Note" box that eliminations are possible via manual journal entries. The trouble is that I am unable to find explicit instructions on how to manually eliminate intercompany AR/AP, and I am unable to successfully create manual elimination journal entries. Can you please tell me step by step how this is to be done?

Hi, is it possible that an Inactive Item can be added on a vendor bill in certain scenarios?

It might be possible if it was added to the PO before the item was deactivated, or if copying from a transaction that already has the item

Hello everyone! I'm lost here. I've been trying to figure out why some of my Accounts have almost all the fields enabled and some don't when editing them. They're all created the same year(2015), same type, same subsidiary but some I can change all the parameters and others nothing at all? This is happening in PROD and in SandBox. Here are some examples. I highlighted in red the fields I cannot edit.

Hi, We create customer return authorizations from contracts. Authough in accounting preferences DEFAULT RETURN AUTH. STATUS is set to pending approval, when we save the retA for the first time, the status shows Pending Fulfilment. Why is this the case? The status appears correctly "perding approval" when we create stand alone retAs (so when we bypass a contract)

Avoid Sabrix if you are not on SuiteTax. The Legacy Tax version has issues...lots of issues

@Paweł Kubera not possible, but you can use new invoice group feature to consolidate multiple invoices into a single invoice group/consolidated invoice.

Hello, I was wondering if any of you experts had the opportunity to find a solution for NetSuite to handle the below in NetSuite, where invoice is paid to customer by another party.   like the following: Where Company A send invoice to customer A, and Company A has a factoring agreement with Company B to pay 90% of the invoice for Customer A and when customer A has finally paid the invoice to Company B, Company B then pays the reminder excluding their fee to Company A.   Happy to hear your comments. @Rick Goodrow I think it's usually just done via a journal per pay run, which can get as granular as you need. There is a newish Paycheck Journal feature that may be worth investigating as well.

Hi there, This might be a bit of a long shot! I need to find a report that shows all suppliers balances as of a specific date (31/1/2021). I am trying to use the A/P ageing summary and detail but it is not giving me the results I am looking for. I don't want it to show the balance in intervals just 1 balance as of that date and then all the transactions that make up this balance. Does anyone have any advice please as I have no idea where to go next! Thanks in advance.

He all! I have an issue. Our accountant tried to do csv import for Advanced Intercompany Journal. Earlier we have had no issues, but now we got this error message:

Entity CUST0003 can only be used in transactions marked for elimination.

I found SuiteAnswer 80521 related to this, but I don't quite understand it. Does anyone have experience what has happened and what we would need to change to make it work? There are many many lines, so don't want to do it manually. Thanks!

Back to Vendor Prepayments - My VPP seems to be stuck in the "Processing VPP Bills" mode - the check box appears after I create the Vendor Prepayment, but the bill never generates. We do not use PO approvals, so this PO is in approved status... what next?

Which item type do people usually use for Discount items claimed off invoice by customers? We have several customers who reduce their payments by "claiming" their promotion or other discounts. We have set these up as Other charge type items, but I feel like that's messing with our tax liability reported in Avalara. This is especially a problem when the discount is claimed months after the original invoice date. Anyone have any suggestions? is Item type the issue? Anyone have a best practice set up they're willing to share?

How do you all handle payments to owners/partners? Found out we handle them using vendor records and bills/bill payment which are of course viewable to all buyers and such who can view vendors and bills. Any thoughts how to keep this down to just Accounting?

I set an Account to Historical rate with only one transaction in 2020. I verified no other transactions where processed with same rate type. There should be no reason to calculate an accounting period average for this rate type if no further transaction were processed. Why does the system keep calculating separate conversion rates for the subsequent months?
