@James Morris The way I do it. I modified balance sheet report to show me currency and amount foreign currency as well. This way I can calculated the average exchange rate for each currency on bank account - and all balance sheet accounts - (keep in mind that base currency bank account allows transactions in all currencies). Then I calculate the difference between average rate and month end rate. The difference is multiplied with amount in foreign currency. Sum of all entries gives you the value posted in revaluation for that account

I noticed that when I upload journals using csv, the journal memo (line) does not populate the correct column in my csv. It will populate the memo in the header instead. How do I get NS to match this memo line without having to manually set it everytime?

@DX if you are using Setup -> Import -> import CSV, then in Netsuite fields you have memo listed twice. Fist time under "Journal Entry" - this one goes onto header. Second time is in section called "Journal Entry Line", this one will put memo on the line

Anyone with Avalara installed, I have a user who, when they go to create an inventory item, the avalara tab will replace their inventory tab after they go to save a brand new item. They have to log out and log back in to get it to revert. (they have 0 access to Avalara) Anyone else encounter this? (I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, so sorry if this is the wrong channel!)

No. Adjust period is journal only

@KevinJ of Kansas For certain account types like COGS, Deferred Revenue and Other Current Liability it's disabled and still allows child records.

Most likely reasons, that account is defaulted somewhere

Maybe NetSuite disables it for system accounts

The same way they disable your ability to merge

Hello, I have a user that is looking to run a report, to provide the breakdown of transactions making up Undeposited funds "as of" a point in time, to tie with the Balance sheet. Does anyone know of a Suite Answer that can help me build this search/report? They are currently looking at the Nolan Bundle to help with this need, but they need something to get them through this Quarter End.

I am unable to change the approval status of a bill while I'm logged in as an administrator. The box for approval status was grayed out and there was nothing in SA that says why this is so. Anyone knows what's up?

If you go to the vendor and click make payment you should be able to see exactly what the two amounts relate to and you just need to use the credit as the payment towards the outstanding bill

Yes. For both customers and vendors friending on the age of each dollar. The objective is to ensure your books and your customer or vendor reflect that the same transactions are open or closed

By aging into buckets of time, you can more easily discover unapplied balances

Anyone have any experience with Multilocation reconciliation? It's not possible to filter the Bank Rec page by location with Standard Netsuite. Also can't add additional columns. Thoughts, please?
